In 2013 I was chosen as one of only 20 dancers across the country to be a member of TEAM CANADA in the senior groups. I represented our country in the World Dance Championships taking place in Poland in December, 2013. The World Dance Championships are attended by countries from around the world competing in the modern, jazz and ballet styles of dance in Poland over a seven-day period. Nine world-class judges assess dancers through several rounds of competition, paring down the competitors until just six will compete in the finals for gold, silver and bronze medals. This is the Olympics of dance!

Team Canada left the competition with 18 gold, 11 silver and 7 bronze medals. And they were honoured to place as the best overall country.
